Beginning October 1, 2009 Maine districts must have a designated Microsoft enrollment number for the ACTEM Select Agreement. Two forms must be submitted electronically to cdickinson@actem.org.
Even if your district has no immediate plans to purchase Microsoft licenses, completing both forms in advance will expedite order processing if/when you do place a future Microsoft order through ACTEM.
Form Directions:
1. Please TYPE in ALL information on both forms. You may email Craig the Enrollment form separately if you wish. No signature is required on the Enrollment Form.
2. On the Signature Form complete just the bottom left box (Institution) on page 1 and include the district tax number. Print out and sign page one. Nothing needs to be completed on page two but it does need to be included in the final submission. Scan both pages and email to cdickinson@actem.org
3. No signature is required on the Enrollment form. Complete sections 1a. 1b. 1g. "Name of Entity" should be your district name.
According to Microsoft: "Each district will now be able to manage their
own licenses, leverage their own license keys, activation keys and access
and manage their own Software Assurance benefits (for those that obtain
SA). As more and more of the Microsoft products require activations (i.e.
Server 2008, Vista, Windows 7, Office 2010, etc..) it is critical for each
institution to access and manage their own keys under their own
agreements."
