For the third consecutive year ACTEM will offer member districts momentous savings off new FirstClass licenses, servers and service modules such as archiving. The promotion runs from January 15, 2008 thru June 16, 2008. Individual schools may order at any time during this period and ACTEM will accept purchase orders dated July 1, 2008 for schools wishing to place orders under the next budget cycle.
The savings on FirstClass licenses are significantly more than the past two ACTEM campaigns thanks to leveraging the buying power of all six New England states for this proposal. Discussions began at the New England ISTE meeting in Worcester, MA in March 2007 with President Vincent Vanier, Dennis Crowe and Craig Dickinson attending. Andrea Walsh of FirstClass presented the concept of special NEISTE pricing. Gary Lanoie and Craig met with Andrea again at the MassCUE conference in November and discussions continued at the NEISTE meeting in Brattleboro, VT with Dennis and Craig representing ACTEM. The details were completed during a lengthy meeting in December in Winchester, MA with Craig participating.
New this year is the opportunity to purchase one to four additional years of FirstClass maintenance with the initial purchase. Historically FirstClass maintenance costs increase 10% annually. Since maintenance renewal is based upon initial purchase price, schools have the opportunity to reduce maintenance costs by purchasing reduced price licenses and adding on additional years of maintenance up front.

2. When you are ready to order, fax or mail:
a. Your signed school purchase order made out to ACTEM.
