Maine students in grades 6-12 and all faculty may order select Adobe products at educational pricing online thanks to an ACTEM partnership with Journey Education. Point your browser to:

Choose K-12 from the pull-down menu, then select Maine. You will be asked to select your county then campus.

Eligible CS4 titles are Design Standard, Web Standard, Production Premium and two Windows-only bundles involving PhotoShop, Premiere Elements and PhotoShop Elements. Unfortunately Acrobat as a stand-alone product is not included in the available education titles.

Tim Plumer of Gorham, a national Adobe trainer who regularly volunteers his services for Maine K-12 trainings, points out that Adobe “Education Software” is not disabled in any way. “It can be used for non-school projects by the kids who purchase the products, it will continue to work after they leave school , and the software can be upgraded as commercial software after they leave school,” Tim notes.
