MathType Site Licenses are available through ACTEM and determined by the number of full and part-time math teachers employed at the school.
MathType is the equation editor that works well with Apple iWork and Microsoft Office, but is not pre-bundled on the MLTI image.
MathType Site Licenses include both Mac and Windows versions that can be “installed on all computers within the control of all faculty, staff and students of the school.” That means school computers, laptops and home computers.
The minimum order for a MathType Site License is $255 (5 math teachers at a school, even if the school has less than 5).
5-9 teachers $51 per teacher
10-24 teachers $48 per teacher
25+ teachers $45 per teacher
This MathType license is a perpetual license for the latest MathType Mac and Windows versions, thus a one-time charge. The license does not include maintenance. Schools wishing to upgrade to possible future versions will have to pay for upgrades.
