NoteShare, NoteShare Server and three bundles are now available through ACTEM to public and private schools throughout New England. Email requests for quotes to cdickinson@actem.org.
NoteShare Server for OS X allows at least 36 or more users working concurrently on the same notebook at the same time and is ideally suited for classroom use. School-wide deployment may require multiple instances of the NoteShare Server software running from multiple systems depending upon total number of users accessing notebooks at any one time along with hardware performance, system and network bandwidth.
PC or Linux users can access, view and edit notebooks being hosted by NoteShare Server from any web browser using NoteShare Express. The Express software is sold separately as an add-on application and instance license for NoteShare Server sites.
Individual, District, or Institutional membership in ACTEM is required. Email cdickinson@actem.org for membership info. There is a $5 processing charge per order regardless of the order size.
Schools may combine one or more bundles with individual licenses. Example: 14 NoteShare seats and a Server are needed. Order one Server + 12 Seat bundle and 2 single licenses.
ACTEM sells academic licenses for NoteShare from AquaMinds at a discount. There is no minimum order and AquaMinds processes orders very quickly. Licenses and instructions for installation arrive via email, usually within 24 hours.
System requirement: MAC OS X 10.4x or higher. If imaging a large number of systems, please include any special requirements for licensing installation. AquaMinds will be happy to provide addtional tech support and packaging.
NoteShare licenses are concurrent. If you purchase 15 licenses you may install the program on more than 15 computers, but only 15 or less may simultaneously use the program. Pricing will not be published so please email cdickinson@actem.org for a quote.
