Parallels 4.0 is out. You may purchase copies of Parallels 4.0 without maintenance from ACTEM for $42 + $8 shipping and will receive a CD for each copy you buy with the install code.
ACTEM members who purchased Parallels 3.0 from ACTEM in Sept or Oct 2007 may renew maintenance through December 31, 2008 through ACTEM and receive the update to Parallels 4.0.
The price of Parallels with maintenance for the month is determined by the total accumulated ACTEM orders for the month. Please see pricing below.
Parallels Desktop for Mac (www.parallels.com) is the leading virtualization solution for the Mac, enabling Apple users to run Windows in conjunction with Mac OS X without rebooting. All Parallels Desktop for Mac academic licenses purchased through ACTEM include maintenance for one year allowing for a free upgrade of any new release during that period. You may purchase maintenance renewals from ACTEM prior to expiration of your licenses.
Parallels Server for Mac academic licensing also requires the purchase of maintenance for 1,2, or 3 years. Platinum maintenance offers 24/7 support and allows multiple individuals to assess it. Gold support and maintenance supports during regular business hours with one individual designated as school contact.
Delivery of license keys will be electronic. Contact information and email address must be included on your P.O. Individual keys for each license will be sent for orders of 1-99 licenses. Orders of 100 or more will receive a single key for all licenses.
ACTEM will aggregate orders for an entire month. At the end of the month customers will be invoiced for the licenses they purchased at the price tier of our aggregate order. EXAMPLE: School A orders 1 license. School B orders 24: School C orders 25, all in the same month. Each school is invoiced at the end of the month at tier 50-99 pricing.
