The premier AI in Education Summit in New England 

hosted by ACTEM & METDA

Saturday, January 13, 2024 • 8AM - 4PM

South Portland High School, South Portland, ME 04106

International speaker Amanda Fox will kick off this first of its kind event with a keynote address to set the stage for an exciting day of exploration and  learning. Workshop sessions will involve participants in deeper learning about both the value and challenges of A.I. use in schools. Playspaces will provide hands-on experiences with A.I. products and facilitate important discussions about how this pervasive technology will impact learning in your setting. 

This Summit will run in rain, sleet, snow or shine (maybe all four), and we encourage you to make the most of beautiful Portland for the long MLK weekend. Check out Visit Portland to help plan your trip.

Registrations will be limited to the first 150 people. 
  • Cost is $150 for ACTEM and METDA members 
  • $180 for Non-members
  • Registration fees are TRANSFERABLE but are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • This summit is supported by ACTEM and thus is NOT eligible for the PD reimbursement program.

Each participant will receive:

  • Entry to the event
  • Copy of The AI Classroom by Amanda Fox, Daniel Fitzpatrick, and Brad Weinstein
  • Access to private book study with Amanda Fox
  • Breakfast (great coffee & spectacular doughnuts) and Lunch (pizza & not much else)
  • Post-event social
