ACTEM is an Authorized Education Partner (AEP) for Microsoft software Our AER Select Plus Agreement allows ACTEM to sell licenses and media to educational/non-profit institutions. Districts must be registered under our Select Plus agreement to purchase Microsoft licensing through ACTEM. Microsoft Select Plus Licensing Microsoft Select Plus is a perpetual licensing agreement for government and academic organizations. Select Plus works best for organizations that want to license Microsoft on-premises with no annual cost committment. Software Assurance (upgrade rights) is optional and cloud services are not available. You simply use the software until it no longers works with current operating systems and then purchase newer versions at our low educational pricing when you need to upgrade.
Personal/Staff Purchases of licensing If you are interested in purchasing Microsoft Office or other software as an individual for your personal computer, go to the Microsoft Student Store. ACTEM is only able to offer software to schools and districts registered under our Select Plus agreement. Versions and Licensing ACTEM can only sell the most recent version of any Microsoft software but you are allowed to install an older version with a current license. Microsoft Licenses and Install Media (DVD's) are sold separately Microsoft Media (install DVD's or flash drives) are offered by ACTEM at $30 each plus $8 shipping and handling. One install media will work for multiple installations up to the number of licenses purchased. Install Keys and software downloads are also available by the registered district contact by accessing the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center website. Microsoft Install Media (DVD's) ACTEM stocks the current and the most recent previous versions of install DVD's for our customers convenience. Microsoft Office Versions
Remote Desktop Licenses Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop (Terminal Serv) User or Device CALs require you to call Microsoft to activate your licenses. When purchasing these licenses from ACTEM, please call the Microsoft Clearinghouse for activation. Remote Desktop Activation Line - (888) 571-2048. Office 365 Education - Not available through ACTEM Microsoft Select Plus Registration Your district or school must have a Microsoft Customer Number under our Select Plus agreement to place orders through ACTEM. A school or district will need to complete an Academic Select Plus Enrollment form before placing your first software order.
