LL2018 - Leveraging Learning

Beyond the Apps 2.0 - Knowledge to Application

Registration Now Open
In their Leveraging Learning institutes, the Auburn School Department helps participants learn how to successfully design and implement an iPad initiative to customize learning for students. The institute will provide participants with opportunities to network and learn from others.

"This was such a powerful event! I came in with the viewpoint of a parent not wanting my son to be "plugged in" all day with all this "screen time." I'm leaving seeing the capabilities of iPad as a tool and the direction to go as I begin. I love having the resources, explanation of the apps, time with experts, networking and team time! I'm so excited to start!”  Kim Tilton - Kindergarten Teacher  - Saco, ME

Dates:  November 8 & 9, 2018

Location:  Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch, Auburn, ME

Registration Cost: $325 Early Bird rate available May 21st through September 7th. On Sept. 8 the rate increases to $375. Registration includes all conference materials, access to the conference iTunesU course, and  breakfast and lunch on Thursday and Friday.

LL2018 Sessions:

LL2018 will be both a call for action and a time of empowerment! This year’s sessions will be designed around effective models of iPad use in the elementary classroom that do two things - support learners in gaining control over content and ask learners to apply what they have learned to accomplish meaningful tasks. All sessions will provide clear, replicable, and effective ways that participants can grow the purposeful use of iPad in their classrooms.

At LL2018, each session will…

  1. Be built around a recognizable classroom challenge that is valid for both the presenter/presenting team and the participants.
  2. Provide through words and modeling an example of how the presenter or presenting team has leveraged iPad in meeting this perceived need.
  3. Provide facilitated work time during which the participants can take the steps needed to go back into their classroom and integrate the practice into their own professional toolbox.

Space:  LL2018 will be limited to 100 participants.

Cancellation Policy:  Conference registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Sorry, no refunds on registration fees.
