Doug Levin, K12 Six National Director
Doug Levin is co-founder and national director of the K12 Security Information eXchange (K12 SIX), a national non-profit dedicated solely to helping schools protect themselves from emerging cybersecurity threats. He is also the creator of the K-12 Cyber Incident Map, the most comprehensive database of publicly disclosed cybersecurity incidents in K-12 education, which serves as the foundation for the ‘State of K-12 Cybersecurity Year in Review’ annual report series.
Doug's keynote: How It Gets Better -- For those of us working in school systems, cybersecurity is the very definition of a wicked problem. Yet, students and educators rely on us to keep their work and information protected – and superintendents rely on us to keep schools operational – no matter what cyber criminals and malicious hackers may have to say about it. Let’s explore how we can work together to improve school cybersecurity practices for all school systems.
