Workshop Description:
As a Technology Integrator/Coach/Facilitator, you play a critical front-line role in determining the degree to which available technology is made use of in classrooms. To do this work you make use of both technical and people skills. Your technical skills allow you to see how a lesson can be enhanced through purposeful integration of technology. In this session we’ll share technical skills that can make a difference, and discuss how our people skills make us effective in encouraging individual teachers and movement towards systemic adoption of effective tech-empowered practices.
As a technology integrator or technology coach, you are always helping others. That’s what you do! It’s your job. This day will be devoted to learning about best practices for helping you help your teachers through a combination of looking at research, resources, and sharing our own experiences.
